Important things to remember when the winter weather starts blowing into Bridgeport:
Listen to WICC in the morning to see if there is a delay or if school is canceled.
2 hour delay- school starts at 10:50 am
Early Dismissal Procedure
A request for early dismissal letter must be written and signed by parent/guardian and must include reason for dismissal, the date and time the child is to leave school and a working telephone number to reach the parent to verify the letter.
Parents/Guardians must come to the main office to pick-up the student.
The early dismissal log must be signed.
Students must be picked up prior to 2:30 pm during a full-day and 12:00 pm otherwise doors will be locked until the scheduled dismissal time.
**Please be aware that early dismissal occurrences will be documented as part of your childs permanent record.
