Homework reinforces the lessons that have been taught. It enables students to practice what they've learned and aids teachers to know whether or not what they taught was indeed learned. Get a move on, pick up your pencil and practice, practice, practice... Homework is given on a daily basis. There will always be a lesson in both language arts and math. The majority of the time there will be alternating homework lessons in either social studies or science. Whenever a major project is assigned, students will have ample time to complete the assignment and a due date will always be given. There will be many major projects including book reports, state and country projects, science experiments or follow-ups, and building math concepts. Homework is expected to be turned in whenever due and there is a loss of benefits when it is not handed in.
