A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Ms. Jacqueline Simmons
Dear Families:
Welcome to Theodore Roosevelt School! This year, we begin our 10th year together. It's hard to believe it's been a decade since we walked into this beautiful new building to begin our journey together.Over the past decade, we have been so fortunate to now see so many families returning with younger children. Thanks to all of you, we have built a community that prides itself on respect and compassion for others. The support of our families is second to none!We will continue our focus on active partnership with families. Keep your eyes open for the monthly calendar and weekly Parent Square message to let you know about important events. We thank you in advance for your assistance in sending children to school on time, in uniform, and being prepared for learning. Should your child be absent, please send in a note and make sure your child makes up any missed assignments.
We understand that cell phones are essential tools for students coming to and from school. We ask that you support the school cell phone policy and remind your child that cell phones are NOT to be out during the school day. Our focus must be on learning.
While we continue to update our school webpage, we actively share information/pictures on our school Facebook page. Please “like” Theodore Roosevelt School today!
We are committed to making this year the very best year in your child’s academic career. Please do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything that I can do to support you and your family. You can email me directly at jsimmons@bridgeportedu.net or message me on Parent Square.
