David Purviance

  Greetings Roosevelt School community and welcome to a beautiful new school year. I am exceedingly excited to continue serving the Roosevelt community as Assistant Principal. 

I have been working in the Bridgeport School system for 27 years, both as a teacher and as an administrator. I firmly believe that a child’s day at school should be fun, challenging, and highly engaging, and I am committed to collaborating with all members of the school community to create an environment that provides that experience for our students.
