A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Ms. Jacqueline Simmons
Dear Families:
Welcome to Theodore Roosevelt School! As we begin our ninth year in our beautiful new building, we look forward to many incredible things! We look forward to working with your family on many levels and hope you will become an active partner as we strive to provide your child with an incredible year of learning!
This will be the 5th, and final year, of our participation in the Commissioner's Network. This funding supports our Early AM Arrival program, classroom intervention, afterschool clubs, supplies for home learning, and many other resources.
We will continue our focus on an active partnership with families. Keep your eyes open for the monthly calendar and weekly Parent Square message to let you know about important events. We thank you in advance for your assistance in sending children to school on time, in uniform, and prepared for learning. Should your child be absent, please send in a note and make sure your child makes up any missed assignments.
We understand that cell phones are essential tools for students coming to and from school. We ask that you support the school cell phone policy and remind your child that cell phones are NOT to be out during the school day. Our focus must be on learning.
While we continue to update our school webpage, we actively share information/pictures on our school Facebook Page. Please “like” Theodore Roosevelt School today!
We are committed to making this year the very best year in your child’s academic career. Please do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything that I can do to support you and your family. You can email me directly at jsimmons@bridgeportedu.net or message me on Parent Square.
