The fourth annual International SEL Day is March 10, 2023!  

SEL Day is an opportunity to collectively spread the word about the importance and impact of social emotional learning. Working together, schools and families can raise awareness of SEL! 

Social emotional learning is the process through which all young people and adults acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities. SEL helps individuals manage emotions; achieve goals; feel and show empathy for others; develop relationships; and make responsible decisions.  

Bridgeport Public Schools acknowledges that the development of SEL competencies is essential to success in our schools, workplaces, homes, and communities.  

Join us in celebrating International SEL Day on March 10th
