National Honor Society

  • This student-run club is BMA's chapter of the National Honor Society.  BMA's NHS chapter usually inducts junior and senior members during the Fall semester.  Members are invited to apply if their cumulative grade point average after their sophomore year is above a 3.30 average.  Once invited, all members are asked to complete an application asking for his/her leadership and community service experiences, as well as examples of their good character.   Each student's school disciplinary record is also checked before induction.  Once students are inducted into the society they are required to provide community service to the BMA and outside community, be role models for the rest of the BMA student community, and meet regularly.  At present, the society's meetings will be held on Fridays after school starting Friday, December 13, 2024.  Students in the BMA NHS may also apply for dozens of academic scholarships offered by the national organization.
