Relay For Life 2019
The Bridgeport Relay For Life is a 12 hour jam-packed fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society. Over the last 4 years, we have raised over $77,000 to fund life-saving research, provide counseling and therapy services to cancer patients and their loved ones. This year is our 5th annual event, and to celebrate we're taking a look back in time by doing a Relay Rewind! We'll be honoring the best of the 50s, 70s, and 90s throughout our event, so be sure to stop by!
Join the Bridgeport Public Schools community in the fight against cancer all day on Saturday May 18th from 10 AM - 10 PM on the Fairchild Wheeler Campus. Food, live music, games, family-friendly activities, raffles and giveaways are all a part of the event! To get involved, head to http://hyperurl.co/relayforlife2019 to make or join a team, keep yourself updated, or donate!

Relay For Life 2017
The 3rd annual Bridgeport Relay for Life was held at Fairchild Wheeler Interdistrict Magnet Campus on May 19th, 2017. Over 750 people formed teams that represented many Bridgeport schools, community organizations, and other groups that participated in the charity event. Together, we were able to raise over $20,000 for the event, bringing our overall total to $70,000 over three years!
All of the proceeds from the Bridgeport Relay for Life of Bridgeport benefit the American Cancer Society, which acts to support survivors, serve those currently battling, and increase awareness. The 2017 event saw students, parents, staff and other Bridgeport residents working together for this common cause - Eida Rivera, a cancer survivor and Bridgeport parent, delivered the keynote speech; Emily Kolodziej, a cancer survivor and senior at Fairchild Wheeler HS, delivered the Luminaria Ceremony 'Fight Back' speech.
This year, we are excited to host our 4th Annual Bridgeport Relay for Life on June 1st, 2018. (1pm-1am)
