• WELCOME TO CHORUS AT MCM!

      My name is Miss Boden and I have been happy to teach at Multicultural Magnet for eight years!  I am a graduate of Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT and have seen a promising growth in our program over the years I have been here.  I look forward to working with your children!

      Our program is a combination of technical exercises to improve the quality of the voice, solo assessments to improve independence and pitch quality, and analysis of performances or listening exercises to improve aural skills.  All of these activities are combined and applied to our songs that serve as material for our concerts we hold two times a year to share our music with the school.

    The WINTER CONCERT for all students grades 5 - 8 will be Wednesday, December 16th at 6pm in the gym!  Dress will be white tops with black bottoms (no jeans or sneakers, please) and girls may wear a skirt or dress in these colors.  Parents should stay for the whole program.
