Good afternoon BPS Families and Staff,

Governor Lamont’s announcement yesterday regarding face coverings does not affect schools. The mask mandate remains in effect indoors for the remainder of the school year. This applies to all BPS sponsored activities.

Even with the CDC announcement yesterday about mask flexibility for those who are fully vaccinated, we must follow the guidance and directives of the CDPH and CSDE. With only four weeks left in school, and the vast majority of students statewide not yet vaccinated, it is not anticipated that the CDPH and CSDE will change the mask mandate for this school year. I will keep you updated.
