Good Morning Parents/Guardians- 
 
I am writing to alert you of an incident on April 27, 2023. One of our female high school students was approached by a strange gentleman on the campus of one of our high schools in an attempt to lure her into the car. The student was on the phone with a peer who reported the incident and contacted the police. The perpetrator was apprehended by Bridgeport Police shortly after the incident and taken into custody. An additional call came into Bridgeport PD during this time, reporting a similar incident that took place on April 26th, 2023 with a grade 10 female students as well. It has been confirmed that it was the same perpetrator. Please speak with your children about safety measures when walking to and from school daily and report any incidences of concern to school officials and the police.
